Kim Hine - Senior Adviser

Kim Hine is as an experienced independent financial adviser (IFA) with over 25 years in the industry. For the last six years she has specialised in advising the elderly paying for care services and their families. Early in 2010 she joined the Care Fees Advice Agency to continue to specialise in care funding advice and to extend the coverage across Bucks and surrounding counties.

Kim is a qualified Chartered Financial Planner and also has the necessary specialist qualifications to advise on paying for care fees. She has been awarded the Later Life Adviser accreditation via the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and the Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC).

With empathy and experience, the care fees advice process gives individuals and their families, options for funding care so that they can make informed choices. Most clients want to secure payment of the required care for their lifetime and to preserve an inheritance for their families. Kim will guide those involved through the decision making process, at this difficult and stressful time, to make appropriate decisions - in their own time - with peace of mind.

As a way of giving back to the industry, Kim is an integral member of the local Insurance Institute of Bedford and Milton Keynes, being on Council since 1990, served a term as President from 1996/1997 and since then has served as Treasurer from 1997 to date.
