Tom Scott - Director

After working in financial services since 1986 and specialising in providing advice to the elderly on their care fees since 2002, Tom set up Financial Care Consultants Limited to offer specialist elderly care fees advice services. The company now trades as the Care Fees Advice Agency.

Tom says ‘By concentrating on long term care we aim to provide the best possible service and advice. Virtually all of our clients want to ensure that their care fees are secure for life whilst preserving an inheritance for their family. They are looking for someone to guide them through the difficult choices ahead and we will work with them, in their own time, to help them come to the right conclusions.’

Tom is a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers through the attainment of the Financial Services Skill Council’s Later Life Accreditation. He is also a member of the Personal Finance Society by Diploma and also holds the CII’s Advanced Financial Planning Certificate alongside its specialist long term care qualification.

Tom has lived in Worthing for the past ten years with his wife, Dee and two young sons. He enjoys walking and cycling on the South Downs, playing guitar, collecting music for his treasured jukebox and he is a member of St Mary’s church in Broadwater.
